Pondering Life (Open)
Caitlyn was sitting on the shore of the lake and playing with the water. She spent more time down here than she spent in her room and she liked it that way. One could never practice with powers too much. Today she had a dozen small spheres of water orbiting around her as she sat and thought about how she was going to tell her parents she didn't want to go home to Nova Roma for the summer.

She loved her home, she just found New York to be more exciting. Professor Xavier said she could stay here for the summer and be an X-Woman now that she was graduating. There was also the option of college. She had been accepted to two smaller schools in the area and one in the city. She just had to decide on one and what she wanted to do.

Cait hated making decisions. She was a more of a "go with the flow" kind of girl.

She concentrated and increased the speed of the spheres as they orbited around her.

Corey looks up at her with a 'Did somebody just ask for the basepaths to turn into quicksand?' sort of expression.

"No, s'okay, Lucas, don't need to bother." Corey sets his catalog down, gets up, after the 'hurt? What hurt?' fashion of put-upon brothers throughout the ages, and picks up a glove again. His bare feet shift into a slightly steadier stance. "I guess I'll get back in for a while."

	Cait shook her head and went back into a batter's stance. She gave it her best swing when the ball came flying toward home plate. The ball went rolling toward left field, between the third baseman and the short stop. Cait took off toward first. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cait scrambled toward first, but the throw got there before she did. "You won't be thinking that when I throw you in the lake and hold you under!" She was kidding. Mostly. 	"I'm fine," she answered. It wasn't the worst thing her bratty brother has done to her. There was that time he sunk her into the ground up to her neck and left her there for hours. 	Corey would get into the cases of accidental -- or was it 'accidental'? -- hypothermia, but they're not having this conversation out loud.
