Sitting on the Beach (open to Defenders)
Marlow sat on a blanket on the private beach one morning not that long after the battle with Dormammu, staring out over the waves with her knees drawn up to her chest. She wore a button down shirt Sarah found for her, probably one of Griffin’s, over swimsuit bottoms. The wound she’d sustained from the Mindless Ones laser blasts was healing slowly. It made lifting her arms over her head hurt and pull on the healing flesh, so wearing her own tee shirts was out of the question for awhile.

She really wished she could heal herself. It was by far the worst thing that had happened to her up to now. Even with the odd magic boost, she couldn’t manage the most simple healing spell on herself.

	Her smile was bright. "That's probably it, you know. We're different enough to get along so well. Does he really like True Blood? I'll get the dvds for him. We can have another movie night." "I can manage now. The painful part is getting a shirt on and off over my head. Sarah loans me button down shirts so I can dress myself. Hopefully I can be swimming soon." 	"Yes, he really does like True Blood. The theme song is stuck in my head because he likes it so much. But that show is a bit...racy." Andy says, wondering if Marlow knows what she's getting into. 	Probably not as racy as living with Clea. Her primary role model had pursued an actively sex life in the Dark Dimension. The godlings' behavior was a lot like home. "I'm looking forward to it, too." She impulsively touched his arm. "Let me know when you want to visit your girl, okay? And where she is. It'll be easier if I can find a magical anchor near her." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Andy smiles and nods. "All right, I'll want to go in a month. She's in London, England from what she said. I don't know how far Stonehenge is from there, but I can find out." he says. "Quinn Braddock is in England. He was an apprentice to a Doctor Strange in another dimension. He spent some time here with us. I can always find him. Sydney may have his telephone number since he has a new team and has stopped traveling. I'll ask her so we'll be ready when you are."

Her face lit up with the proposed treat. "I'd really like that. We might be able to watch all the movies this time."

"It's kind of like...being locked in a room where you can hear things, but dimly and you can't see anything going on outside. Sometimes, I get vague impressions of him in my head. He can talk to me, too.

He says you're beautiful, despite how often you dodge his compliments." Andy grins.

"I don't know how it is for him, but I'd guess it's about the same. I know that he hears and feels things more than I do, in a way. Lots of things are louder or feel better or worse to him, depending on what they are." Andy says.

	That made a lot of sense to Marlow. She gave Andy a shy smile. "Titan says a lot of nice things. I was afraid he was trying hard to be liked and hadn't found a way yet to let him know I like him without all the compliments. "If I think of something, I'll ask Titan when I see him again." She really wanted to ask when that would be, but thought it might be rude. They really were in a difficult position. It sounded like they had a voice in their head like she had Clea in hers. Except Clea didn't seem as difficult as Andy and Titan had it. And she would never turn into Clea.

"Thank you for answering my questions. I really appreciate it. If there are any I can answer for you, please let me know."
