David's Birthday
Given the events of the last few months, Logan didn't push for a party or even try to roust David and drag him out to dinner. He left a note in David's room that dinner at his favorite place would be entirely doable that evening if he felt up to it.

Also, David should check out the garage bay next to Logan's.

	Misha had been in on the surprise in the garage, so he was able to make his choices for David appropriate to the main item. His gift to David, a starter tool kit, was in the garage on the workbench, and a birthday card with a $250 gift card to the local auto parts store on David's dresser. (Reply to this)(Thread)

David had been very puzzled as he usually was when it came to gifts. He had finally finished putting the bike together from last year just a few months ago. He was still learning the ins and outs of automotives which honestly, he loved all of it.

So David had to wonder if maybe there were things at the shop he might like. He ended up grabbing food on his way to the garage. Munching away on an apple while letting a freshly toasted bagel with cream cheese rest in the other hand. He peered then had to catch the bagel because he did in fact loose the apple. "Holy cow."

He will be fighting to not bounce right out of his shoes.

	Though David wasn't part of her family, he was a part of Misha's and Misha was important to her. Anya had no clue what to get him since she hadn't spent much time around him, but she decided to go with a new leather jacket and a gift card for 200. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	David growing up in a household where thanks were given for everything he made sure to call Anya. He was smiling a bit because he had what now, four different leather jackets? At least somehow they managed to be different. He calls just to be sure she knows he likes it. It does fit him better in the shoulders than the other ones, he has to admit. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Rose too, had been aware of the main surprise. As her less dorky brother, he definitely deserved something nice (to say nothing of the fact that David had the best chance of any of the Logan children of turning out normal). She had gotten him a couple of more specialized tools and a more modest gift card to a clothing store that specialized in western and biker ware. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	What was their family's obsession with western wear? David didn't get it. He certainly wouldn't complain though. He had been looking for better boots since his other ones were both falling apart from use and getting too small. He finds Rose and is very obvious that she is going to get hugged. He took a level in bad ass when no one was looking. He just looks pleased with himself.

"Thanks you two." he says with a small smirk. He is clearly happy. "So when I get stuck I can ask you two what I'm doing wrong, yeah?"

He does enjoy tinkering though so he might not even notice when something is taking a long time. Or he might build more bird houses. The local bird population does happen to have the best bird homes in the county.

	David had been finally getting around to foodstuffs that would stick around for longer. He was hitting a stage where he needed to pretty much eat half of his weight in food because of an oncoming growth spurt. He just tried to not be obvious about it. He nods warmly to greet Starbridge. 	Starbridge completely understands, having been brought up to keep smiles rare. he hands him the book, and then pauses for a moment, eyes growing distant. The images start to fan out. At some point in his day, David will receive a miniature metallic type case with a handle. It looks almost like a briefcase.

Upon opening it, David will find a note.

Under the note are stacks of poker chips and a deck of cards, a whole set for anyone who might want to learn to play. Of course, David's birthday is the prime reason for the gift-giving, but David is also Rose's brother, and Joey can use as many allies as he can get.

David will easily be able to find Joey out on the back porch later, if he wants to talk.
