Getting back in the saddle
A file was delivered to Sammy and included handwritten instructions from the head office. She read it over the day's unnumbered cup of coffee, then put out call for a meeting with the remaining team members. Each was requested to be ready to leave immediately. Tech, the newest member, was also included in the meeting call. Whether or not he would be useful on this particular mission was to be seen. He could end up staying on the helicarrier. The rest would go.

Hydra had been a very naughty villain group and they were going to get a closer look.

	The line of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were far from unobserved. The second their presence was detected, the tiny Hydra cell had gone into lock down, observing for a possible capture if they could get away with it. Tech's upgrades to the team's comms and weaponry gave them a bit of an advantage against any attackers, but they would have to know that were under attack to begin with.

Tech has been monitoring the HYDRA frequencies since the team arrived, and when comes across the information that there is a HYDRA intercept team converging on a specific location, he takes a moment to cross-reference the info with his own team's position.

Oh, by all that is holy. They mean us. he thinks.

He's been ordered to silence by Fury, and while breaking that silence seems prudent, it could also give them away or distract everyone at the time they'll need to act. Tech thinks a moment, and looks for a solution...

and finds one. He simply feeds the audio from HYDRA's info grid straight into his team's comm system, allowing them to listen to what he's just heard on their own earpieces.

It's better than yelling "AMBUSH!" out loud.

	Sammy put her hand to the earpiece when the new stream of information came through. She didn't spare a glance at Tech to see if it was accurate or if he was the one feeding it to them. 	John Walker, Jr. is a good soldier. The audio filtering in through his ear piece barely gives him pause. He spares a moment to check that his gun is ready, but maintains his position as pointman, shield ready to ward off the first rounds of fire. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
