Getting back in the saddle
A file was delivered to Sammy and included handwritten instructions from the head office. She read it over the day's unnumbered cup of coffee, then put out call for a meeting with the remaining team members. Each was requested to be ready to leave immediately. Tech, the newest member, was also included in the meeting call. Whether or not he would be useful on this particular mission was to be seen. He could end up staying on the helicarrier. The rest would go.

Hydra had been a very naughty villain group and they were going to get a closer look.

"Have a seat, Walker. Everything normal?" Not liking him so much didn't mean she wasn't concerned about his well-being. She was. He was an important part of the team. Time had given her some insight on the colonel's original choices for the team. Alice, Walker, and Childress would all be important when it was her turn for the head office.

If she could manage to keep them alive until then.

Plus, annoying Walker with polite inquiries had its own entertainment value.

Tech walks in with a briefcase and a workout bag, nodding to everyone in turn.

"Good morning, Fury." he says, then looks at Alice and John.

"You two must be Agents Dugan and Walker. Good to meet you. Please call me Tech." he says.

Then he sits down and pops the briefcase. He pulls out a nutrition bar and begins to eat it, before pulling out several pieces to a 9mm handgun and getting back to work.

	The transport flew the team in two hours before dawn, leaving them two miles from the closed base and three from the reported Hydra cell. The cell had purchased land nearby which had been the tip off to check things out. Sammy examined the GPS and then looked around at the team to be sure they were ready to move. 	The forest went silent. An six man team dressed in green surrounded the team and moved in. Two went immediately at Walker to subdue him first as the apparent major powerhouse. Three others rushed Alice and Sammy at the rear. One slipped in between the attacks to take down Tech. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	The first got hit by the kick and staggered backward a bit. The second fired the energy weapon he carried as Walker charged. He ducked the shield when it came down to smash him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The bolt struck Walker straight in the chest and knocked him back, but his armor held against it. There might be a bruise under there, but he'd be good to keep going. He dropped lower, coming up into an uppercut. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Behind the green mask, the goon is grinning. He moves in fast to take the agent down, intent on getting it done. The punch connects, draws blood that the mask absorbs, and doesn't slow him down. He goes for a body slam to knock the other man down. (Reply to this)(Parent)
