Avery and Sydney walk into the new museum and find it heavily occupied by other visitors tonight. There are a lot of people here for the opening, and a great many of California's top politicians are here. Avery can't help but think that his father would have a field day here. So would Adrian.
The first stop for the pair is a Mongol Empire exhibit, claiming to have the sword that Genghis Khan wielded when he was in the field.
"Those days must have been interesting to live in." Avery says. "They got by on so much less than we've got right now. I think a lot of people would be in bad shape if we lost all of the luxuries we currently have." Avery comments.
