"This is Joyce Albright reporting from outside the Tropicana Hotel Las Vegas. In a surprising turn of events, the Tropicana Hotel was purchased today for an undisclosed amount by a group of investors. There has been no word of what this group of investors exactly plan to do with the Tropicana, but there are rumors of renovation and modernization to the iconic Vegas hotel. It is unclear whether these plans include renaming the hotel or leaving it as the Tropicana. We will report further on this when we have more details."
