Halbjorn strikes the sword with the Bloodaxe, deflecting enough of it that he only takes a deep cut to the shoulder and along his chest, the wound cauterized shut. Undaunted, he hacks again with the axe, trying to get in close under Surtur's easy reach. Even in this state, he knows about fighting giants.
