The Fire giant did not look friendly and he could tell that the Evil Eye was in the area. Searching for it would not be easy to do while the giant was still there plus it looked like those fighting it could use help.
With that in mind Eiltin decided to help out and running head long at speed toward Surtur attack with his spear in hand.
