Reporting Live From The Gutter (Open to Reactions)

“…The damage here in Fargo, Georgia is catastrophic tonight. Reports are still coming in, but the latest casualty toll is over 2,000. Military planes are being loaded with supplies and moved in from as far away as New York at this time.” Adrian Carver says solemnly, looking directly into the camera.

“Behind me, you can see the damage that occurred yesterday morning.” Adrian says, and the camera pans around the area to show the husks of ruined buildings, rubble, and emergency crews helping people to medical tents. The camera returns to Adrian, his eyes slowly misting.

“ Eyewitness accounts say that a battle between rival groups of mutants reached a fever pitch before a bomb or explosives of some kind were activated. Investigators are still researching the cause of this disaster; more information will come as this story develops. My name is Adrian Carver, signing off from Fargo, Georgia.” he says.

“Good night and God Bless.”

	Rose growled in the direction of the TV. "...Bite me, Carver." She scratched at her scalp. Her skin and hair had finished growing back yesterday, but it didn't change the fact that all the newness itched like crazy. (Reply to this)

	From her hospital bed Tina watched Carver's report. She hated that smarmy bastard and once again considered tapping into some of her stepfather's resources to make the so-called reporter's life a living hell. Fortunately for him she passed out from medication again before she could make the call. (Reply to this)

"Man...that guy's a tool," Wally sighs as he turns off the TV. He sighs again and finishes pulling his costume on.

A quick tap of the comms and he's sending a message down to the rest of the team. "Hey guys. Headed down to Georgia to help the relief effort from that explosion. I'll be back in a blink if ya need me," he says, heading up to the roof of the mansion. New York City was in trouble but the city could spare one of it's many heroes for awhile at least. It's not like there were a lot of super teams with their home bases down in Georgia anyway and just like he said he can be back in a blink if he's really needed. He takes to the air once he reaches the roof and speeds off in a blur of gold, red, and blue.

	Julian watches the report, going over some things in his mind. He comes to a decision, then picks up his phone. "Paulo, call the team. We're going to Georgia." he says. (Reply to this)

	Justin sighs at the devastation and simply shakes his head. He feels terrible for everyone who is suffering. He's just glad Tina wasn't there, though he's hoping she'll call soon. (Reply to this)

Avery Crittenden stares at the TV in shock. He has to rewind the TiVo to see the report, but the more he watches it, the more certainty sets up on him.

Fargo was the city he saw in his vision, where the young man dug himself out of the rubble. His cousin, Adrian, is there right now doing the report, but Avery doesn't need to know what happened. He's already seen it.

And he knows that it's only going to get worse from this point on.

	Jack watched the report and wanted more information. His contact with mutants in NYC was casual at best. He felt sure Dad would have more information and called him to ask about it, and what might happen next. (Reply to this)
