Exercise
Moira and Danielle were in their designated room. This needed to change. It was so...inside. Moira changed into the outfit she'd been provided that was shifting-appropriate. They stepped out of their room.

	"Awesome. Let's get going then. Got something to show you newbies." Chris smirked imperiously, before dropping to all fours and bounding into the forest. She didn't stay on the ground for long. 	All of the animal girls were way faster than Jess was, and far more agile. No way she could keep up with them that way. On the other hand, what she could do was fly. And alter her light matrix to a nonsolid state, letting branches and such pass through her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Chris raised an eyebrow, stopping for a moment. "That's... sweet, I guess."

Was she hitting on her? I mean, not that that was a problem, but she was just surprised. She hadn't picked up on anything from her initially.

She got moving again, dropping to the ground as they came to a part that was particularly overgrown, crawling under a bush. "There's a clearing just through this..." She shifted back towards human a bit, to let the passage be a bit more roomy.

	Moira had been merely making an amused observation on the matter of running through a fairly new forest with a near-stranger who knows the destination when one doesn't. A branch passed through Jess's legs as she kept pace with the others. She didn't feel it; she never felt anything when it passed through her body.

She did not, usually, make this much use of her abilities, despite being--or at least she had been told she was--rather powerful. It was usually just a reminder of how much of a freak she was.

But hey, when you were with a giant cat girl, a wolf-girl, and a rather intelligent wolf, being made out of light wasn't completely freaky.

"Don't think I've ever been this far into the grounds before."

Chris chuckled as she got through and brushed herself off. "That's the idea. Check it out, ladies."

At the center of the clearing was a large tree with a somewhat shoddy-looking, but solid, treehouse in it. "Xavier-girls' private sanctuary, courtesy of yours truly." She shifted back again and scrambled up the trunk, clambering over the edge of the railing to throw down a rope ladder.

"Come on up!"

"Pretty much since I got here years ago, and found the clearing. Hammered out what you can see on my own. Took me a while." Chris replied smugly, looking it over. "Dad let me borrow a Pym-particle canister to shrink down all the supplies to get them in here, and helped me with the design plans."

There was a small deck with a railing and a hole to climb down through for the rope ladder. The house portion itself had a sliding window on each side with an overhang to keep the rain out even when open, and a door in front with a handle and keyhole. Overall, the house seemed amateurish, varying woods and fixtures visible from outside, but a nice piece of beginner construction work.

Chris knelt down by the edge of the railing and felt around underneath until she grabbed the key off it's hook, opening the door. "C'mon in." She strode in, revealing a spartan but comfortable enclosure. Music and male model posters littered the walls, while beanbag furniture and an old area rug took up the floor. A plastic storage cabinet big enough to hold a few people was in one corner, and a set of bookshelves filled with books, magazines, snacks, and battery operated electronics and lamps flanked it. Overall, the space was narrow but long, and seemed as if it could comfortably sleep a dozen people on the floor.
