Hey brat. This week I went into space with the team.  We took down Galactus' Herald and his robots, helped saved the Shi'ar Throneworld, then fought the Shi'ar Imperial Guard who tried to take Rachel into custody.  Did I mention I was in space?  In the armor?  

In OUTER SPACE?

"They really can't hear you scream in space." He paced the room out of habit. "Next time the Shi'ar come calling, remind me I'm holding a grudge against them." Misha didn't forgive threats against his family for any reason.

"You'll be happy to hear the armor tested fine out there. It's pretty humbling to have only only your body armor to keep you from choking to death."

"Response time was excellent. Maneuverability was mutant fast. It worked with me. I'm starting to get ideas about challenging Dad to another match to see how me and the suit stack up."

"I'm glad it's working well." Not that she had doubts about it, but it was nice to hear confirmation.

"I'm okay. There was only three of them and the fight was over in five minutes. Nothing like the usual baddies people like us face."

She knew he worried. She worried about him. They were family and they always had each other's backs and they'd be the first in a chair by the bed when either got hurt.

He laughed. While he did lean toward quiet in formal situations (all the better to learn more about the people around him), shy had never been his problem.

"Want me to bring you back anything from Russia? A fur hat with ear flaps? A Winter Guard to hold your book bag?"

Anya giggled. "Afraid I'll tell your girlfriend your secrets?" she teased. She had known Lyta probably as long as Misha did. Their fathers ran in the same social circles so the two girls had met at an early age.
