Jake may not know Rachel as well as others but he still has a gift for her. He leaves a bright red teddy bear and a 'Happy Birthday!' shaped chocolate lollipop along with one of those cards that plays music when opened. Of course he tries to make sure no one sees him doing so...still shy.
