Tech Heads Unite!
Sydney leaned over the table, carefully working on the circuits inside the Beetle-suit's right glove. The circuit linkages had been running a little slow the last few times she'd tested them, so hopefully this would sort that out. While the suit did employ some cybernetics, it also relied more heavily on simple linkages and feedback responses, allowing for certain movements and muscle responses to trigger certain actions from the suit itself.

It would never be in the same power-class as the Stark armor Anya wore, but in the short term, it could fly rings around it. Speed and agility prioritized over sheer power.

If she could get the damn linkages fixed.

	Anya stepped out of the elevator carrying a plate with a pile of cookies on it in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other hand. Hey, she at least remembered she needed to eat once and awhile. 	A moment's hesitation flared up, wanting to keep the secrets of her suit hers and her alone, but were quickly beaten down. This wasn't the Masters. These were people she could trust. "Yeah, they're not bad, but they're not Jarvis' cookies either. I'll make sure I bring some back from New York next time I go."

Anya settled in on the stool. "Are you repairing damaged circuits, or is there a glitch?" Anya reached across the table and turned her laptop on. She held her finger over a scanner and waited a few moments. She was juts a little paranoid and the laptop wouldn't work for anyone else.

"See, I'm the opposite. I'd rather build a new suit than try to fix a damaged...badly damaged...one. Less hassle." Anya shrugged. "I'm just weird that way I guess."

Once the computer was started up, she opened a few programs. "Are you having problems determining where the problem is, or know what's wrong and just trying to figure out how to fix it?"

Yes, Anya had been studying the suit since she sat down.

Yeah, well, not all of us have an infinite supply of money for that kind of thing, Sydney thought, but she kept it to herself.

"Uncle Abe always taught me to take pride in fixing something," she said, instead.

She prodded a particular circuit, watching the fingers of the glove flex when she did so. The armature still worked at least. "I'm losing connection somewhere along the line," she said. "When I make the right hand motion, it's suppose to trigger the weapons systems, but right now it's only doing it about two-thirds of the time."

	"It happens," Anya said as she started to look at the circuits. She did cheat a little and directed some nanites to check out the circuits. It would take a few moments. "It's understandable. I was touchy when I had my mobility issues."

Anya paused a moment to think about how to put this without being offensive.

"I've noticed your armor really isn't that portable and given mobility limitations and restrictions, why not combine them somehow? Incorporate your chair and suit into one thing? This way you have your suit with you at all times and getting into it wouldn't be a problem. One consideration though is a matter of your identity possibly becoming public."

Anya nodded. "I was in a bad car accident when I was ten and I suffered spinal injuries. I was paralyzed from the waist down for awhile."

The nanites finished their job. Anya handed the gauntlet to Sydney. "Try it now. There was a short."

Anya shrugged. "It wouldn't be that difficult. You may have to give up wheels and go to a hover chair, but it's totally doable."
