Las Vegas was the trip of a lifetime for Abigail Peterson. She and her bridge club had scheduled a trip for a week in Vegas. Harry had never been interested in traveling or gambling, but now that he was in the ground, Abigail was free to travel. Vegas was a great destination. The desert heat wouldn't bother her arthritis and she did love to play the slots.

Abigail entered the Seven Heavens with Betty and Mary, two of her closest friends.

Many hours later and much richer, Abigail came out a very changed woman.

It had been about a week since the altercation with the female Atlantean, and Mason, for the most part, was recovered. Stitches hadn't come out yet, but he didn't need to worry about popping them in the course of his day. Marrina and Jordie had threatened to lock him in his room if he didn't rest for at least the first few days afterwards, so he'd been forced to comply.

Right now though, he was feeling okay, and he had nachos with three kinds of cheese, bacon, and gravy. There was good in the world.
