Cassidy reaches up to the counter, slowly pulling himself to his feet. He smacked his head a bit, but the world wasn't spinning, so that was good.
He rises to see Tina and George locked in combat, and though he wants to believe that Tina can beat this man, Cassidy's suffered enough abuse at his hands to know that no one can beat him.
"George, stop it! Leave her alone!" he yells, his eyes glowing more fiercely than ever. Every sound they made, every sound in the general area was funneling itself into the young man, and now he could feel it begging for a release, a way out.
He was tired of running, of hiding, of being beaten and prodded. He was tired of wishing someone cared enough to come after him; no did. No one would. He was tired of being tired. He wanted the world to go away.
"I SAID LEAVE HER ALONE!" Cassidy screams. The two of the them will feel the ground beneath them shake, and the windows rattle. Cassidy allows all the anger and pain inside to come out.
Tina and George will quickly find themselves in the center of a building that is collapsing around them as fast as the city outside is crumbling to the ground.
