Cassidy's shield is barely holding up as Bob and George continue their assault. Even as he feels himself growing stronger, it's taking everything he's got just to keep them away from him.
Then he hears Steve and all of Cassidy's hope, and shields begin to fail. He might have been able to be any one of them, or any three. But all five of them means that he's going to be beaten, painfully, before they take him back to Doctor Milbury.
His shield fails and Cassidy closes his eyes, waiting for them to tear him apart.
