Back Into The Fold
Tessa Reece walked down the crowded and busy sidewalk of New York. She hadn't stayed at Xavier's long. It just didn't seem like her kind of place, so she made her way back to the city. She had managed to find a room in an apartment with three other people. They seemed nice enough and Tessa kept to herself.
She had even found a waitressing job at a nice restaurant and the pay was actually pretty decent. In all she hadn't done too badly for herself.
She walked and was oblivious to the man following her.
There was a sharp prick in the back of her neck and her vision blurred. The man appeared next to her and then the two of them disappeared. Another wayward child was brought back into the fold of the family.
