She wanted to tell him to enjoy S.H.I.E.L.D.'s hospitality for the rest of his life, but it would be petty and she was above that. She saw the spark in his eye and she watched it fade just as fast. He was beaten. Even if he did manage to break out of S.H.I.E..L.D.'s custody, he would never be as powerful as he once was. He was no longer a threat.
She turned to go.
