Anya Antonovna Romanova Stark ([info]anyastark) wrote in [info]marvel_nextgen,
Anya got a reply to her email and was quite surprised she had been granted access. S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't normally let civilians in to visit prisoners, but apparently they made an exception this time.

She didn't know why she was doing this. No, she did. She had to close the book on this once and for all. Lucas had helped her get Temujin out of her head, but she had to see him sitting in a cell and totally defeated.

Her actions and the associated guilt weighed heavily on her. She had hurt people as Lady Mandarin and it was something she couldn't undo or take back. It was her burden to bear her entire life.

Screwing her courage to the sticking pole she headed to the location S.H.I.E.L.D. had provided.
