Heading for Home
Akilah held the paper in her hands, flabbergasted by the news it brought. She was being summoned back to Wakanda to attend a trial against her mother. Apparently, Ororo Munroe had attacked the Wakandan capitol relentlessly for almos two hours, destroying much of the city and killing many innocents. She couldn't believe it. She absolutely could not believe it. However, Akilah knew she had to return home as quickly as possible. She immediatly started gathering clothes and supplies for the trip home. She also intended on telling her teammates that she was leaving for awhile. However, she was not one to strike up conversation so easily. Akilah made it apparent that she was going somewhere by gathering her things at the door.

"Just a few more things to check," she muttered as she slid her things to the wall.

	And she didn't think to inform anyone of what was going on? For shame Princess, Daniel is here. He watches her curiously then frowns in concern before deciding he had to say something. "Akilah. 	"Why? Is there something wrong," he asks with a look of concern. He cares about her deeply. He will never say he's in love because it's just opening himself up for when she'll have no choice but to choose duty. But he can easily commit himself for caring like he does. 	She hesitated, not wanting to give off a sigh. But she ended up sighing anyway. The thought of the situation made her uncomfortable. "I know it is not true," Akilah replied. She had been thinking about it a lot. "But that is not what the people of Wakanda saw. They saw their Queen cast lightning on their homes. They saw their Queen call the winds together to swallow them into Death's grasp."

She paused and bit her lip, unsure of what to say next. She couldn't turn him down. It was Daniel. How could she tell him to stay back while she went away into that kind of situation?

"...Then come with me, Daniel. And... I supposed the others may come. But no one must speak their minds about the situation while we are there. I do not want to aggravate the situation, and the Avengers tend to be loose-lipped."

And if anything Daniel knows how to stay tight lipped. He knows when nothing he says can do anything.

He nods. "I'll assemble the team. You can make it clear to them that speaking out in Wakanda will not help matters."

Then he gets this embarrass look on his face. "Will I be a problem? I mean. I'm white and I'm dating you. I don't want people to use that as an excuse to ignore what you have to say."

	It was a serious situation. Almost too serious, and Akilah had been very uncomfortable. Until Daniel asked that question. She couldn't help but laugh a little. 	"Not often? Charlie is a cool guy and all but..." He takes his glasses off to polish them and pushes them back on. "We just don't talk that much. I'll assemble the team, Akilah." And he activates his comm. "Avengers! We have a situation! Meet Akilah and I in the lounge as soon as possible." After he is done saying that he bows and offers her his arm. "M'lady." 	She smiled and takes his offered arm. That's when two of the Avengers make their way to Daniel and Akilah. "I am leaving for Wakanda," she announced, "To attend a trial against my Mother for attacking Wakanda's capitol city." She gave them the explanation, if they planned on attending. 	Daniel is back in uniform with a stave carved with various runes and protections. The young wizard had a bag with him too that held a few different books and some potions. He wanted to be ready. 	Akilah opted for quick travel, and she detailed some things for the group coming with her on the mission. Her mother was facing the death penalty, being the biggest thing. She truly believed her mother was framed. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Wakanda. Hadn't been there before, so new experience there. Still, between two magic users and even James super-soldierness, Steve was the weak-link on this team. Like always. 	James stepped up. "We need to know exactly everything that has happened. If you have any video footage, witness reports, anything that could help, we need to see it. "I am positive Mother has been framed, however..." She cast her gaze to the side, seeming worried. "The entire city is witness to this attack, and they all claim to have seen Mother do it. I do not know much about what footage we may have since we just arrived, but I will be checking in on any and all reports."

She paused, and looked at each of them.

"I have a strange feeling about this entire situation. Help me watch out for Mother and Father."

	"Alright then," Akilah said. She nodded to James and Steve. "If you find the time, speak with my mother. She is being detained in her room. I will send word to the guards that you two are permitted visitation." Then she walked by Daniel and made a move to grab his hand. 	Daniel takes her hand. His expression is soft really. He isn't an angry sort of person and he can show his support easily. He also wants to find out if she's okay. The wizard is very careful about these sorts of things. He wouldn't want to embarrass her. (Reply to this)(Parent)
