In her entire lifespan, Summer had never had any luck with plants. There was a skeletal husk of a Bonsai tree for every state she'd ever visited. Clearly, this was some kind of chlorophyllic retribution.
She struggled against the vines, but they were too strong. What was worse was that she was certain if she passed out, she might never wake up.
