Life had been pretty hectic for Kalypso and the Eternals. Hectic enough to keep her out of New York for quite some time and that meant time away from Jack. She had meant to see him as soon as she got back, but Eli had come to town and there was the whole mess with the Avengers.

Now that she was back in New York and there were no emergencies, she had to go see him. She landed on the fire escape outside of his apartment and knocked on the window.

	"Anything for you." The call took five minutes. Two pizzas would be delivered, one for Kal's taste, one for his. Thanks to his enhanced senses, anything spicy or strong would only taste bad. He was back and resumed his nibbling right where he left off. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"I know, sweetheart." He kissed her, then stretched while trying to keep her close. He was hungry, a little sleepy, and a lot comfortable with Kal so close. This was as close to perfect as he could imagine. Kal as a guardian angel was an image that took root and tried to make the trip to his fingers for a sketch, but he was so content he didn't want to move. "I like knowing that you're never too far away."

	Giggles were music and he hurried to put pizza on plates, grab bottles of water and get back to fun. He handed her a plate and stood back a moment. She really was beautiful.
