The Most Magical Place on Earth
Sarah is about as nervous as it gets. A double date was one thing, but she had Anya and Steve along then, and Anya has usually been her social occasion security blanket. And now she has a whole week alone with Molly, who is quickly earning 'as wonderful as it gets' points.
She'd done everything she could to set things up properly. Anya had the trip and reservations in hand, of course. She still had to get help showering and all, so it may have been a bit of a letdown there - not quite so easy to surprise your date with strawberry scented shampoo, slightly tight jeans and the rest when your date helped wash your hair and get you dressed. Ah well.

The wheelchair also isn't quite ideal, but the people on the plane, and then the airport attendants were nice enough to help out so Molly didn't have to do everything. Sarah is also getting use of her arm back, so she can manage short distances on even ground pretty well. Tomorrow should be better still. The limo was a bit tougher, but between the two with super strength and a little help from the chauffer they managed.

Even with all she's seen though, the gates take her aback. "Wow... this place is huge."

Sarah settles in with her head on Molly's shoulder, one hand resting on her stomach, breathing in the smell of her hair, occasionally kissing her neck and cheek.
"I don't know about that, I'm sure you're going to say that to all the girls." she teases. "But I'm going to do my best to make it perfect."

Molly giggled, kissing her nose. "You've caught me. My plans are foiled! Whatever shall I do?" Her hand ran through Sarah's hair.

She tilts her head up to steal a quick kiss, giggling right after. "Mmm, how about a whole lot more of this, in between mouse hunts? And as I get moving a little better, I can spoil you rotten a little bit too."

She returned the kiss, grinning."Yes. Lots of more this. Oh, and I looked online before we left. I made sure that there were enough rides that we can go on that could would be wheel-chair friendly. Or at least ones that would be easier for me to lift you out of the chair and onto the ride."

"You're incredible, you know that? By the end of this week, I should be walking pretty well, maybe two or three days I'll need the chair most of the time. Healing quick is good... not quick enough, but I'll take what I can get here. If there's something you want to ride or do that I can't though, it really is ok. I'm happy to make you happy."

Molly nuzzled her neck. "I know. But I don't want to do anything without you. Going on rides alone won't be as fun as going on them without you."

"Ok sweetie, I just wanted you to know it was alright. This is your vacation too. But I definitely don't mind keeping you close either."

"We can go see the shows and get our picture taken with all the characters and have more fun than the five-year-olds there for the first time."

"That sounds like fun. Maybe someday I'll see a few more of these movies so I even know who all I got my picture taken with. This is going to be great. Where do you want to go fir... oh, right, mickey mouse first."

"I know the vast majority of Disney characters to get us by. Just stick with me and you're safe." She grinned. "Yes. Mickey first."

"Oh, I figured you did, or we probably wouldn't have come here on vacation. Just remember, I the only Disney movies I've seen were the ones with you, so I'm counting on you to play guide."

"I may have not had the best education growing up with the Runaways...but they made sure that I was well educated in my Disney movies, like a 'regular' kid." She laughed, "I'll get one of those nifty tour guide outfits and everything. "

"Yeah, sometimes I'm not sure how much I missed out on growing up on Battleworld. Some things I'm way ahead in, like super hero history 101 and small unit tactics... and then there's things I have very little knowledge of, like rock music and Disney."

"I didn't exactly have a normal childhood either, growing up with the Runaways. It was fun, but I missed out on a lot of stuff that most kids my age did. Like going to middle school."

"I can understand that one. We had classes, but it was things like Mr. Wagner teaching us German, or Mr. Rasputing teaching Russian... and my dad teaching tactics and such. They did their best. The runaways, huh? That had to be rough."

"It had it's ups and downs. After we discovered that our parents were evil murdering criminals, we looked out for each other. If we hadn't run away, we would've wound up in foster care. It wasn't like we lived on the streets, though. Having parents that ran an evil criminal organization had it's perks- like hidden, fully stocked lairs throughout California."

She blushed. "I'm far from perfect, but thanks. I had some excellent role models. Nico, Chase, Gert, Karolina, Vic, even Xavin and Klara. We kept each other grounded. Granted, keeping Chase grounded could be hard sometimes."

"I'm afraid I've never heard of any of them, except what you've said. Anyone who kind of got to be known after the Avengers went to Battleworld in most worlds, I don't know. But they sound like good people."

"They're some of the best people I know. We weren't exactly the Young Avengers or anything, so I'm not surprised that some people don't know us. We were just a bunch of kids that wanted to make up for what our parents did, so we ran around L.A. playing hero. We didn't exactly go towards the spotlight because we'd all just wind back up in social services."

"For what its worth, had I not read the files when I was here, I wouldn't know of the Young Avengers either. Aside from what I've run into bouncing between realities, my Earth History ends when everyone left to Battleworld, and starts again after the sentinel takeover and mutant massacre... which thankfully doesn't seem to have happened in most places."

"Yeah, on my Earth, 90% of the mutants on Earth were killed when the sentinel act passed while the main Avengers, X-Men and so on were on Battleworld. They never knew, til the five of us came back. So yeah, that not happening anywhere else is definitely for the best."

Molly bit her lip."Yikes. Yeah...I'm going to cross my fingers that something like that never happens here."

"Well, its hard to guarantee a 'never' on something like that, but looking at responses here, I don't think its likely. On my Earth's history, my parents, the Avengers, the X-Men and so on were away when things like the Inferno Crisis happened, and the technode virus... they were much bigger disasters, and turned a greater amount of people against mutants, so when the sentinel program was proposed, it passed by a huge margin. That hasn't happened here, its still pretty divided."
