Father-Daughter Time
Avery followed the directions from his GPS to the mansion, not sure what he was expecting. The place was huge, he knew, but what he could see from the gate was....epic. There really wasn't another world for it.

He'd called ahead to let Sydney and Zoey know he'd be coming, but he still wasn't sure what to expect when he pulled up to the front gate. He didn't see any dragons or, heavens forbid, any Mongolian Death Worms, but one never knew with these types, did they?

He just hoped Zoey was still interested in being around him even after all the awesome she was currently surrounded with.

Avery nodded at Ohu. "Yes, I am proud of her, more and more every day. She's funny, bright, and well-spoken for her age.

She's, in a word, amazing." Avery says.

He'd like to have a piece of pie, but he decides against it, as he doesn't want to spoil dinner with Zoey.

"I'll pass, thank you. I told Zoey we were going to Mama's Pizzeria before the movie and she liked the idea. Don't want to spoil us." he says.

	Avery blinks in surprise at the illusion Marlow casts and has to hold back laughter that it does not deter Ohu in the slightest. But a giant smile crosses his face as Zoey bounces into the room. Avery watches the interplay between all of them, noting how they all seem to look to Sydney to explain certain things to them and generally heed her words. She's definitely got an effect on all of them.

"Sydney, we'll be back around eight, if we run into traffic or dragons, we'll call you." Avery smiles, teasing Marlow and Ohu a little bit before guiding Zoey out of the room.

"Okay, Awesome Zoey, dinner first?" he asks.
