You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman
They had arrived at Earth and had orbited for awhile before Empress had selected her targets. It had taken some time. She didn't want just ANYONE. They had to be among the best. She WOULD win the gladiatorial games this time. NOTHING would stop her. Not even a small thing like gender.

Empress didn't care if it was cheating. The only thing that mattered was winning and she would win this time.

The teleporters were activated and the selected targets were beamed directly to the lab. There they underwent a little transformation and were given attitude readjustments and then put into a holding cell.

The men would wake up in the holding cell to find a few changes.

Vincent dives away from the assault, landing face down.

Oh... oh god. Adjustments to the new body. Note to self, NEVER LAND FACE-DOWN AGAIN. Certainly not in this outfit.

She scrambles back to her feet, flying away. She prepares another raw attack, this time anchored to the end of the staff. She unleashes another massive tendril of magical force, brandishing it like an epic flail.

She's still not fighting her hardest, the sight of another opponent going down hitting something in her mind saying this isn't right. The flail hits, sending her flying back, before she rights herself, firing concussive blasts back at the sorceress, the ongoing fight continuing to conflict in her brain.

Vincent's head is starting to buzz as well, being showered with the blasts, but she pushes past it, frustration taking over. She intensifies the energy, but doesn't let the tendril enlarge. As it approaches critical levels, she swings it at Iason, releasing it from the staff.

Distraction proves disaster, and she takes the blast full on, sent flying into a wall, then hitting the floor hard.

She glances up, trying to clear her vision, when something about Vincent's countenance, the anger and frustration strikes her as 'off', compared to her own struggle and detachment. Its not clear yet, but its getting there, the blast knocking some sense into her, combined with her cosmic awareness buzzing at her brain.

Perhaps this could go differently, perhaps not. Unlikely with her fighting on two fronts. She lowers her head, surrendering to the demigod and not getting up, leaving one fight to concentrate on the other.

Vincent breathes heavily, still seething as she tries to work past the buzzing in her head as her hands are shaking from the energy she invoked.

She's won.

Her opponent is submitting.

Her head is still on fire, but she moves past it. She forces her anger and frustration down; regardless of their source. She stands straight and drives the staff into the ground, before walking over and offering her hand to Iason.

"Well done."

Her mind is clear. Vincent getting so worked up over the situation, and pushing all the wrong buttons helped her... him fight through some of it. Now he just needs to figure out what to do about it.

Rather than clambering to her feet, with or without assistance, the Eternal hovers easily back upright.
"Glory to the Empress." she says carefully, trying to stay within expectations while she tries to determine a next step.
