You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman
They had arrived at Earth and had orbited for awhile before Empress had selected her targets. It had taken some time. She didn't want just ANYONE. They had to be among the best. She WOULD win the gladiatorial games this time. NOTHING would stop her. Not even a small thing like gender.

Empress didn't care if it was cheating. The only thing that mattered was winning and she would win this time.

The teleporters were activated and the selected targets were beamed directly to the lab. There they underwent a little transformation and were given attitude readjustments and then put into a holding cell.

The men would wake up in the holding cell to find a few changes.

She notes a few things quickly. The unfamiliar body is definitely throwing them both off. Despite that, Misha is flat-out better than Iason is. She can't block the right, but doesn't need to. Human strength doesn't do much, if any damage, and she retains her eternal traits. Still, she has to give her opponent's courage credit.

She comes back in with a series of feints and jabs, trying to wear her opponent down, while familiarizing herself with this body a bit and testing it.

It was the extra on top that was throwing off her balance. For now she reacted, defending against Iason's attacks, waiting for chinks in her opponent's movements to slip in with hard punches that seemed to do nothing more than buy her more time to commit the other woman's fighting style to muscle memory.

Iason is just as busty, but has superhuman strength to help a little bit with the balance issue. There's plenty of chinks in the armor - he's good, and well trained, while Misha is spectacular. And Iason is good enough to know that if the scales were remotely equal, she'd be in big trouble. With Misha's power, her own punches don't come that close, and every weakness is exposed.
The upside is the difference in strength and durability. Iason continues to press, trying to keep the fight moving, working on wearing down her opponent.

Misha had no hope of outlasting an Eternal and she knew it. Her healing factor gave her an edge but eventually she wore down. Blood was streaked and drying over her face and arms from where she'd wiped blood away from her mouth and nose.

After what seemed like hours, Misha managed to glare at Iason's endurance while he struggled to maintain his footing while throwing a last few jabs.

She's impressed by the human's endurance and will, she has to give her a lot of credit.

"I see no need to injure you more than necessary. There is no dishonor in surrender. You've fought better than I could have imagined possible."

"I'm not quitting," Misha spat, wiping more blood from her mouth. "Finish it now if you can." Stupid words because she knew she wouldn't last more than a few more punches from the Eternal, but she was incapable of giving up. Later, she would content with the choice of champion for the Empress. Now she would take the fight to the inevitable conclusion.

She nods, then blasts at Misha with her eye beams, pure concussive force. She hasn't been using them to this point, partly out of testing herself and her opponent, and partly to serve as a surprise.

The blasts knock Misha off her feet and back six feet. She landed hard, striking her head on the floor. She was out of the competition.
