You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman
They had arrived at Earth and had orbited for awhile before Empress had selected her targets. It had taken some time. She didn't want just ANYONE. They had to be among the best. She WOULD win the gladiatorial games this time. NOTHING would stop her. Not even a small thing like gender.

Empress didn't care if it was cheating. The only thing that mattered was winning and she would win this time.

The teleporters were activated and the selected targets were beamed directly to the lab. There they underwent a little transformation and were given attitude readjustments and then put into a holding cell.

The men would wake up in the holding cell to find a few changes.

	This time Vincent dodges, still concluding the previous volley, and unable to defend just yet. She doesn't dare take her eyes off the shield though. Splitting her attention, she calls to mind one of the first spells she learned, firing a web of sticky silk-like fibers out from a palm, trying to engulf James. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vincent is taken off guard, not just by the quickness, but by her human opponent's strength. She lets out a heavy breath as the strike connects, winded, but then reaches out to grab tightly onto the extended arm. Her other hand swings the staff to make contact, unleashing a severe electric shock. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vincent is startled, having been expecting more durability. James had seemed physically capable, from that display. She descends to the floor to release her opponent quickly, cutting off the effects of the spell. She's already preparing to signal for medical attention, if that strike was the finisher already.
