Re: Battle of Champions
There's an inhuman howl from the Bear-sark, but she doesn't charge. She does lumber forward, by all appearances, reading herself to tear the unarmed warrior apart, all while another war happens in her brain.
She lives to fight - but that life is rooted in tradition and loyalty. Being an Asgardian is, first and foremost, all about sacrifice. Living, fighting and dying for something greater. And in her mind, Svalin has always been Asgard, in a very real way.
She'll fight for the Empress. Really, she was one of the easiest to cajole into this. She'd have gladly fought the Champion to fight the Champion. But not against Asgard.
The control snaps, the bear-sark with it, and the wounded, scarred and exhausted Halbjorn Thorsdottir kneels before her sister.
"Aye Princess, mine life is thine. For Asgard."
