Moving In (open to Young Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America)
Anya sent out a text message and an email to the Young Avengers with instructions to take the Underground Airbase Shuttle out to the Hydrobase.

It had taken close to two weeks of long hours and hard work to get the main part of the base livable again. The place had been used for storage for years and unused equipment and dust had collected. Power was still functioning (from the nuclear power plant) which was always a good thing. They had managed to get two of the buildings cleaned out and ready for residents. Anya focused mainly on the communication and computer center while Sammy, Toni and Iason focused on the connected building that housed the hospital, living quarters and cafeteria.

The water purification plant was running fine and they would have fresh water to drink. The two hangars, motor pool, and the research and development buildings hadn't been touched yet. They could be worked on when they got to them. They did have the whole summer before people had to go to school.

There was still that pesky detail of telling her father or Uncle Steve about using the base. While she waited for the others to arrive, she sent an email to her dad and Uncle Steve about using the base and to come see the renovations they made.

As busy as they were, Sammy still found time to work on the armory list. Living quarters were the first priority, so she'd done nothing more than take a quick look at the space available and then kept her notepad in her back pocket the last two weeks. Once the initial craziness was over, she would start the process of stocking the armory.

She waited at the shuttle to see if other two would be leaving at the same time, scribbling in her notebook.

Iason has just been flying to the Hydrobase himself to get work done. Nice to have hobbies where he won't keep anyone awake when he's not sleeping. At least this has allowed a fair amount of work to get done quickly, and most of the things in need of moving or cleaning has been moved or cleaned up, though a lot of the technical work still needs to be done.

On getting the message, he finishes the work he's in the midest of, and fles to the shuttle bay.

	Eliza was making her way down carrying a bag that held a few things she wanted to keep at the Hydro base. She glanced around curiously as she got down to the Underground Airbase. 	Okay, she'd tried the whole having her own apartment thing (she was just enough older than most of the other kids to be a little more comfortable on her own), but Rachel had to admit, this was one heck of an impressive HQ. 	Well, her dad was definitely going to find out now. The tattoo, at least, she could keep secret until she accidentally wore a sleeveless top. She wondered if she'd get the first lecture or if Uncle Tony would. James Rhodes was occasionally a hard man to predict. 	Anya was waiting by the docks as patiently as possible. She couldn't wait to show off the renovations that had been made. Not to mention there would be more pairs of hands to help with the rest. They had their own base and weren't underfoot of the adults. (Reply to this)(Thread)

"I doubt the Shi'ar technology is compatible. It would probably be a sectional thing... most of their technology is based on hard light manipulation - quicker transmission than electrical, and allows for holographic interaction. I can't get anything all that secure, but for things like training programs, their equivalent of instruction manuals... basic technology, if I went back, I could have some of that within a week or two."

	"My contact with them has been limited, though the Shi'ar have many records of their interaction with them. I'd be curious to see what they've got. We may be able to do something similar. 	The others did show up not long after, the shuttle piloted by Sammy and almost smoothly pulling up to the dock. She waited for the others to disembark before she did. So far so good, but if the parents arrived, there could be some real excitement. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Technically, everybody here knew her identity. But it had said come in costume, and Rachel didn't feel right not having her mask up if she was in the suit. 	Sammy left the shuttle last and looked around. Her costume was totally unoriginal. Neck to toe SHIELD blue without the insignias. She felt most comfortable in it. "I cleaned stuff," Sammy added. "No cameras in the bedrooms and the surveillance in the common areas is all internal feeds. The database is connected to the Avengers database and has a link with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s just like the one at the mansion." Actually the connection to S.H.I.E.L.D. went through the one at the mansion.

"We have a full kitchen and medical area. The two main buildings are done, but the outlying ones are not. I'm hoping to convert one of the hangars into a training room and firing range. We will also need to go over the vehicles in the motor pool and see what's working and what needs to be fixed." She smiled. "We even have a private beach."
