The End is Nigh! (Dark Riders vs X-ers and Avengers)
"We interrupt this regularly scheduled program to bring you this breaking report. It seems like a giant, what can only be called a citadel, rose from the very ground itself and covered almost the entire area of Central Park just moments ago. The monstrosity seems to be composed completely out of stone and there are no discernible entrances. What appears to be people on flying robotic horses circle the citadel. Who built this and to what end has yet to be discovered."

Needle was out causing a little more chaos on the street using his abilities to give random people powers. While Needle himself wasn’t much of a fighter but the chaos he was creating would certainly cause anyone going after him some problems.

Chaos drew Sammy's attention. She went after the cause while the others were battling the other riders.

Needle had been a very busy boy having just given a terrified young woman the powers of Blob in addition to the dozens of other innocent people he had given powers to that they were not ready for and could not properly control. He enjoyed this immensely, this was exactly what Apocalypse had promised him.

With the number of frightened and suddenly powered people running around, Sammy realized they couldn't handle this alone. Not with most of two teams engaged in fights with the riders. She put in a call to SHIELD for pick ups and tried to get them calmed down. All the while, she looked for the person who had done this to these people.

Having finished up with his latest victim Needle was not looking for another one, hopeful one that would put up more of a fight because it made it all the sweeter when he gave them powers that they couldn’t handle.
