Avengers Bad Movie Night! (open)
James was going to ask Valeria if she wanted to go out, but he decided that staying in would be better. Staying in with junkfood, bad movies and curling up on the couch was even better. He was going to stay at the condo, but Mom and Tony could use some quiet time together so he headed over to the Avengers Mansion.

Junkfood. Check. Drinks. Check. Bad movies. Check. Classics such as Mansquito, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, Alien Apocalypse, Basilisk: The Serpent King, Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep and his personal favorite, Hellhounds

James left a message for Val and then stretched out on the couch. A bowl of popcorn sat on his stomach and a glass of milk sat on the floor next to the couch.

Basilisk: The Serpent King was playing on the large screen tv.

James smiled. "Anything you want. Your wish is my command. I must warn you that they're really bad movies."

Val grinned. "I've seen my fair share of bad movies. Franklin and I made it halfway through the movie that they made that claimed to be the 'story' of the Fantastic Four."

"You'll have to watch it with me sometime. I'd love to see it."

She laughed. "I swear, the only reason Franklin wanted to watch it was because Mom was played by Jessica Alba."

"She is pretty hot," he said without realizing what he just said.

Damn. "Not as hot as you though," he said trying to recover.

The smirk remained. "You know you're really cute when you're all flustered like this, right?"

James turned bright red and talking was not an option.

"Jessica Alba is very pretty and you're entitled to think that's she's hot," Val said, kissing him on the cheek. "Just as long I'm number one."

James smiled and kissed her. "You'll always be number one."

Valeria grinned. "See? No problems. Now, let's watch some bad movies."

"Yes ma'am," he said and wrapped his arms around her. Then he pulled her over to the couch and down on top of him.

"Is that Basilisk I hear? That movie is more absurd than the Symkarian Royal Wardrobe -- oh."

There was a little scrambling and a lot of blushing. "It is. You're welcome to watch it with us."

Valeria was a dark shade of red. "Yeah...there's plenty of popcorn and bad movies for everyone."

Vernique gave them a little sympathetic smile. "I'll take a handful, but I don't have time to sit through the whole thing."

Another smile. "When we have the time, we'll have to make some bingo cards."

James tilted his head. "What's bingo?"

"It's game," Valeria explained, "You have a card, with the letters b, i, n, g, and o across the top, and a row of numbers under each letter. Someone calls out the numbers and for each one you hear that matches one of the numbers on your card-like if you got I25 or something-you put a marker on it. The first player that gets a row of numbers either going across or diagonally that spells 'Bingo', calls out 'Bingo!' and they win. It can be fun." She smirked. "It's mostly common among old ladies, but I've played a couple of intense bingo games when I was a kid."

"There's a rare variation where, instead of numbers, you assign the squares to have cliched bad-movie moments written in them. Like someone saying they should split up. Or the monster breaking down the door. Or..." Vernique grins. "A head pressed against a steamy window to indicate a makeout scene."
