"We're going to have some tough days ahead, I won't lie to you. But we're going to deal with it together, and work the rest out." he replies, kissing her again. This is hard, he wants to try and deal with everything right now, but he's also pretty sure that won't help anything. At least he can let her know he still loves her, despite everything, as a point to start healing from.
"I'm going to go find some reservations I shouldn't be able to make. Go get dressed up. I'm tired of human and mutant wars... I think I want to be a spoiled teenager tonight." he replies, trying to find a smile to go with the words.
