Happy Birthday to us
Sydney answered the buzzer to the front gate when it rang and was mildly surprised to find it was the UPS guy. There weren't many packages delivered to the compound. She opened the gate and then went to the front door to sign for and receive the package.

Once the UPS guy (cute one too) was gone, Syd looked at the label. It was for Grace. Time to play delivery girl.

Sydney knocked on the door to Grace's room.

	Grace's stuff had been arriving to her of the course of the week, and she was just down to unpacking the last of it. "Come in," she said as she put some more of her clothes in the closet. Though she really did see why her Mom even bothered sending her winter coat... (Reply to this)(Thread)

"Thanks," she said, taking the package with a smile, "Probably just some socks that Mom forgot to send or something." She opened it, to find a card and a box containing a brand new iPod and a gift card to iTunes.

"My birthday was a couple of weeks ago," Grace explained, setting the box down on her new desk that her and Simon bought over the weekend. "Mom probably didn't have time to send anything until now."

	She sees one, now slightly less-than-perfect rose. "Birthdays plural?"" He knew about Syd's a little too late, but he had still wanted to make it up to her. Dinner and movies out for a change if she was willing to risk it. Now Grace is mentioning birthdays and he feels very much like a bad dad. He shrugs. "Up to you." Please, yes. Please yes...
