"Mine friends, we hath won a great victory this day. Many deserve commendation, and in the many salutes and toasts and tales, they shalt hath their say. But tis a rare occasion that I hath the honor to bestow a truly weighty honor 'pon one of our number for gallantry above and beyond the call of station. We art a people of order, or duty, of discipline... expectations art high. So tis with no small pride that as Lord of Asgard whilst mine father sleeps, I hath the privilege of offering promotion to Hjordis - if she agrees to accept... a mystical shield hath been prepared for her, that she mayst stand proud and true as shieldmaiden to Prince Skari of the royal family of the realm."
