He sighs, not happy about this, and its clear. But he's well aware of at least her sincerity in the matter, that she knows he's the only objective judge of taint on a soul, and most importantly, now that he's told her, she won't quit until she thinks she's done it. So what's worse, trying to keep her safe in the process, or not being a part of her sins? And then, of course, he could just tell her its done... but he has a feeling she wouldn't believe a lie.
"I'm not sure you know what you're asking, Alisa. I can't just make you tainted. I can't give someone extra evil... I can tell you how you'd do it, but it'd need to be something you did of your own free will. I'm going to ask you to think real hard about this."
