The Anti- Valentine

Sophie was not a true fan of the dreaded Valentines Day. Granted she had never had a true valentine, but she had her reasons not to like it. Besides not having a valentine, Sophie just hated how extra lovey dovey her parents were. There was only so much parental unit pda a kid could take and her parents over did it every year. So Sophie spent her free time away from homework and engrossed herself in her newest paperback find. Folding back the cover she began to read.

Ellie, on the other hand, loved Valentine's Day. Absolutely loved it. Yeah, she never had a boy to call her Valentine (though she had a couple in mind that she wouldn't mind calling hers...), but it was still a nice holiday. The flowers. The pink. The candy. Every year Mom and Dad got her and her siblings each a box of chocolates. This year had been no different, the heart shaped box had been delivered to Ellie at the mansion bright and early.

Skipping, with a basket of homemade cards in hand (which had taken her FOREVER to make), and little boxes of Sweetheart candies, Ellie made her way down the hallway. Noticing Sophie, she teleported to the other girl's side.

"Hi Sophie!" She greeted her with a wide smile, grabbing a card and box of Sweethearts out of the basket. "Happy Valentine's Day!"

	Suddenly being torn out of her literary world Sophie looked to her side and saw Ellie. Sophie gave her a quick once over and decided she was worth loosing some free time over. “How goes it?” she asked. Seeing the box of sweethearts Sophie had to smile.
