First Contact
A message waited for Sammy when she returned to the mansion after school. Jarvis' precise handwriting informed her that her mother's office called because Sammy hadn't returned the message left on her cell phone. A check of the phone found that she'd forgotten to charge it. She hardly ever forgot something like that. The Empress episode must've rattled her more than she thought.
She went to her room, plugged it in and retrieved her messages. When she got to the one in question, her expression went from incomprehension to incredulous, and then to angry. Brendon Hill wanted to meet with her.
It would take some time to formulate a reply that didn't include the words 'not a chance in hell'.
