Corey would awaken to the rush of air and the sickening lurch of his body speeding over bumps and curves and twisting through a corkscrew. He was strapped to the front car of a roller coaster. Not in the front car, but on the nose. It barreled at top speed along its track, never less than ten feet off the ground even as it came into the final plunge, splashing into a manufactured pool of water that burned as it hit his skin. A mild acid that wouldn't do much damage in small doses.
But even at the end of it's circle, the ride did not slow down, did not stop at the loading dock. It continued on, right to the long climb up the first hill to begin it's journey anew.
