Attack on Xavier's
Penny stepped out of the cab and didn't look back to see if Winterkill and Breakneck were getting out. They would follow, of that she had no doubt. They had a mission to do. Penny smiled. They'd have fun doing it too.

Penny smiled more as she practically bounced up to the gate. Makeup covered the bruise she had because of that bastard breaking her nose. Anger bubbled up, but she pushed it back. She couldn't afford to let real emotions get the best of her. She had to play a part right now.

Smiling into the security camera, Penny pressed the buzzer.

Giovanna's standing there, face still livid with bruises, eyes and hands still flickering with green.

And as soon as she sees it is indeed him, there's a rather lunatic smile.

And with Leech's adult control it is indeed only his initial target that's affected.

She steps forward, seeing a trace of blood on his face.
Not nearly enough.
Her left arm is already moving to smack whatever defense he makes out of the way while the heel of her right palm --yes, hands still aflicker with charge -- attempts to break his nose properly.

	His nose snaps, and with the electrical jolt, he goes flying back, slamming against the wall, leaving a crack in the plaster and wallboards. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Just look after yourself and don't worry," Giovanna mutters offhandedly to the poor green man on the floor without really looking at him, as she advances again, her voice taking on an increasingly odd, brightly-brittle tone. "I can handle this Thing. Even if I haven't got a very good singing voice."

As he tries to stand up straighter from crashing into the wall, that will be Gio's boot coming down hard on his shin.

She'll be watching for any offensive move he tries to make as a charged up hand goes for him again. She promised she'd be careful, after all.

He tries, and even might have done something with that kick if she hadn't been charged up, as well as highly trained. He gets kicked to the shin - probably at least a fracture, and shocked again when he makes contact. This time the wallboards don't hold, and he smashes through into the next room, leaving bloodly streaks on the solid bits of the wall's internal structure.

	He's got one chance and he knows it. Lurching to his feet, unsure how many bones she's broken, he dives through the second story window. The fall doesn't help either, but by the time he hits the ground he's out of Leech's range and running away. Even at a severe limp, super speed is handy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Giovanna's not the least bit happy about the cur's living to hurt someone another day, but there are injured nearby, and judging by the smoke a fire downstairs to help put out, so she gets to work like a professional. (Reply to this)(Parent)
