Attack on Xavier's
Penny stepped out of the cab and didn't look back to see if Winterkill and Breakneck were getting out. They would follow, of that she had no doubt. They had a mission to do. Penny smiled. They'd have fun doing it too.

Penny smiled more as she practically bounced up to the gate. Makeup covered the bruise she had because of that bastard breaking her nose. Anger bubbled up, but she pushed it back. She couldn't afford to let real emotions get the best of her. She had to play a part right now.

Smiling into the security camera, Penny pressed the buzzer.

	God damn this to hell thought Scarab upon noticing that Moira was had seen him and Laurie. Scarab now ignoring all the pain he was in started running as fast as he could keeping Laurie between him and Moira. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Knowing that he now had proper distance he had Laurie active her power to its maximum radius and had her following him almost 15 ft away. Scarab hoped that this would deter Moira from stopping his and Laurie’s escape. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Moira felt something weird. Like she'd lost an edge. She had a sudden feeling that if she tried to switch now, she wouldn't. But she was still her Da's little girl, and there was only one decent thing to do. So she put all the effort she could into catching up to Laurie's body and tackling it to the ground. 	Scarab saw Laurie get tackled by Moira and while he despised having to do it he decided to leave Laurie. In his present condition he could not chance having to battle someone himself again and he continued running. However he did have Laurie continue to fight to give himself some more time to escape. 	Moira struggled with Laurie's body for a few minutes, wanting to be sure. Entirely sure. But the stench of death covered her, and there was nothing behind those eyes anymore. So Moira, soon, did the only decent thing, grabbed hold of Laurie's head, and with all her remaining strength ripped it off her body. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Scarab knew Laurie head had been ripped off and while the body was still struggling within seconds even that would stop. However with any luck because of his distraction Scarab had made enough distance to escape into the darkness. (Reply to this)(Parent)
