Attack on Xavier's
Penny stepped out of the cab and didn't look back to see if Winterkill and Breakneck were getting out. They would follow, of that she had no doubt. They had a mission to do. Penny smiled. They'd have fun doing it too.

Penny smiled more as she practically bounced up to the gate. Makeup covered the bruise she had because of that bastard breaking her nose. Anger bubbled up, but she pushed it back. She couldn't afford to let real emotions get the best of her. She had to play a part right now.

Smiling into the security camera, Penny pressed the buzzer.

Blake hadn't told them his powers. That was intentional. Suddenly he's moving a thousand miles an hour, grabbing for the back of Gabe's head with one hand and trying to slam him face-first into the fuse box hard, his other hand flashing over switches and turning everything off.

She needed a power up anyway.
"I'm also known as Winterkill." Mikhaila responds conversationally, as soon as Laurie's hand touches hers.
Likewise, at the same moment, Laurie's body heat beings being sucked out through her hand and into Mikhaila.

"Penny, call them in. Get Dreamer up close fast, their tepes will be poking around any second."

Laurie felt the life being sucked out of her. Her last thoughts were of her mother who had worked so hard to give her a good life. Then her eyes closed never to open again with life in them and she hit the floor with a /thud/.

Gabriel didn't have time to react before he felt the impact of his face meeting the fuse box, and the subsequent shock to his system. Lucky that his body was durable, but he had a more sensative feel for pain, and he was down and out.

Its no help for Laurie, Winterkill is thorough, but they're here to collect samples, not slaughter everyone. Their employer was /very/ clear.
Blake collects dna samples from Gabriel and Laurie's body, then races on into the mansion before anyone knows this is anything but a blackout.
