A Trap For The Devil
Natasha sat at a table in the dive bar with a bottle of vodka and a shot glass. Matthew weighed heavily on her mind and she was trying to drink him and the thoughts of him away. The man did nothing but complicate her life. One would think Natasha would have learned by now, but even the greatest hero could be a consummate idiot when it came to affairs of the heart and she was no exception.

She filled the shot glass and then downed the vodka.

Something pricked her in the neck. Then again. Her hand went up to her neck and she pulled out a tranquilizer dart. She looked at it for a moment before the world went black and she slumped over the table.

A man across the bar grinned. So much for the Black Widow. Now to gather the body and go after the Greek.

Had he been paying attention, he'd have heard them coming before they got here. As it is, he's tired, injured, bleeding and out of sorts; he hears the Widow's Bite charging, but he's in a vulnerable position right now.

The blast hits him, driving him to knees and causing him to relinquish his grip on Bullseye.

They just couldn't /listen/, not even this once. Matt was really getting tired of practiced killers telling him that Murder Is Wrong.

He rolls over, still stinging from the blast and turns his head in Tasha's direction.

"Really? This is getting old, Widow." he growls.

	It killed her to see the man she loved like this. Matt was so much better than this and she wasn't going to let him start down a dark path. "I know Daredevil, but I cannot let you kill in cold blood," she said and fired another blast at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Daredevil hears the blast coming and rolls out of the way in the nick of time, his body still smarting from the last blast.

He couldn't believe Natasha was betraying him like this again. After everything she knew, all the things he'd shared with her, she was choosing now to stop him from keeping a killer from hurting anyone again.

"Elektra! Take her down!" Daredevil yells, hoping to God that someone else around here was in their right mind.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Daredevil can understand Tasha's reasoning, to a point; Elektra, however, refusing to aid him is about as hypocritical as it gets.

"You've tried to kill numerous times over the years. He's /actually/ killed you! And you're telling me this is /wrong/?" he asks incredulously.

"Then don't stand in my way. That's all I'm asking." he says.

"You've /got/ to be kidding me." Matt says, hearing the scrape of leather on metal as Elektra's sais come free.

He dodges Tasha's next blast and tries to hold back his rage at both of them. All they ever did was come in and out of his life, wrecking it at random and leaving, and now they were teaming up against him?

"Bullseye can't leave this rooftop alive." Daredevil says.

	It was time to take Matt out and keep him from killing Bullseye. Natasha touched a button on her belt and it activated an ultrasonic blast. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This time, Matt is expecting the ultrasonic weapon. He can't believe she'd do this to him again. He leaps off the roof, firing a line and heading off into the night. He'll get to Bullseye again, but it will have to be after he deals with Tasha and Elektra's betrayals. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
