Matt was two blocks away when he heard the gunshots and immediately changed course to race in that direction. He runs across the rooftops, jumping and flipping as he does to make it to his destination.
Oh, and the idiot was still standing there when Matt arrived. Daredevil actually grinned to himself. He was going to /enjoy/ this.
He fires a line that catches on a lamppost near the area Vinne is standing in and swings downward, picking up enough speed to deliver a brutal double-kick to the man's chest and send him crashing into a set of trash cans nearby.
Daredevil drops into a crouch on the street and recalls the line. Then he whips the billy club and it extends into a quarterstaff, which he spins as he advances on Vinnie.
"You should have run. Give me one good reason I shouldn't send you to the emergency room tonight." Daredevil growls.
