"Turn left and head for that warehouse." Bobbi had to grit her teeth through most of the ride on the back of the bike to keep from just making sure that she'd be the only one showing up where the target was.  Trusting the situation wasn't going to happen but she didn't have much of a choice.  She needed to find out why they wanted her arms dealer and what he had as well as try to get to Clint if he was still alive.

He was alive.  She'd lived, he could make it too.  She wasn't going to believe that he couldn't get out of whatever Bullseye had got him into.  She had been good to her word and didn't let out any information on what she was doing when she got the location of Ali from Twitchy.

This was going to suck.

Following her direction, Bullseye made the turn, but a block from the warehouse, he made another left, circling around the warehouse from a block away. There were cameras visible, and though he had no intention of taking them out - at least just yet - he wanted to know where they were, just in case.

When he'd circled back around to the front again, Bullseye parked in front, keeping his mannerisms seemingly casual, but with the tightly wound coil of a man ready to spring into action at a moment's notice, if need be.

"Remember," he warned quietly. "I'm you're dear, sweet husband, and any hint otherwise means you'll be joining our pal Ali, instead of going to help ol' Clinty boy. Got it?"

Why had she brought him here? Clint would never forgive her if she let him kill someone on the off chance it could save him.

"Got it." She was just as wound up and ready to move as he was. There was still a small war going on in her head about letting him do this or not and how she could save Clint.

"Let's just do this already."

Ali has been waiting at the back-up point for sometime, hoping that Mockingbird got out okay. Now that he's had time to research the name of the psycho chasing him, Ali has a very healthy respect and fear for the mercenary called Bullseye. The man has killed a lot of people and Ali is aware that Mockingbird might have sealed her own fate to save him.

When a pair of people arrive, Ali goes to the monitors to check. He sees Mockingbird with...another hero that looks familiar and wonders if she had some help getting away from that psycho.

"Let Mockingbird in. I want to thank her for saving my life." Ali says.

This was almost too easy.

Bullseye kept his eyes peeled, just in case too easy meant 'it's a trap, dumbass', but otherwise, he followed Mockingbird into the warehouse as the doors practically slid open like arms in welcome.

Snorting softly at the credulity of others - it was a wonder so many people needed his help just to die - Bullseye said nothing else, letting his attractive companion do the talking that would lead them both right to his target.

She was going to be his biggest problem in this hit. As soon as the three of them were behind close, solid doors, Bullseye was going to have to take her out first, then Ali. Otherwise, he might get his target, but get killed by her for his troubles. That was not the way he was gonna go down, and not in a grubby warehouse in Vegas.

It was a shame, too; he'd have liked to take his time with her. Maybe if he only wounded her - severely - he could come back to Mockingbird after Ali and his goons were all taken care of, and do the thing proper...

Worrying that she might kill him was a good fear. She didn't have the same morals some of the other heroes did about killing. Not back when it was the Phantom Rider and certainly not now after all that time with the skrulls.

She smiled at Ali as they got led there. She had to play Bullseye until she got him up close. It gave him time to think she was playing along perfectly and maybe have him drop his guard just a slight bit.

Probably not but hope was a good thing.

"No need to thank me." She was still smiling at Ali even as she gave the warning. "Duck!"

Then she turned smoothly to throw a punch at Bullseye's head.

A handful of marble-sized glass ampules filled with knock out gas flew threw the door behind him, just before Bullseye closed and locked it from the inside.

At the same time, he was moving, turning to Mockingbird and drawing a gun with his free hand, just in time to hear her warning and anticipate her attack on him. Bending backward in what would have been a Matrix-like move if their actions were in slow motion, Bullseye misjudged the angle and fell to the floor, swearing at the jolt.

Spinning on the axis of his arm, Bullseye swung both his legs together at Mockingbird's knees in reverse, attempting to hook them and take her down.

She jumped up over the hook manuever but she didn't land as cleanly as she planned. A little off balance she stumbled for a step then lashed out a kick but it was off balance so it wasn't going to mean much even if it hit.

Ali barely has time to register the warning, but he throws himself to the floor and starts crawling toward any place in the room that will offer him some kind of cover. He'd heard that Hawkeye was one of the /good/ guys!

Did Mockingbird bring him here or was she tricked? Ali didn't know, but he wasn't waiting to find out.

Ali pulls his own gun and shoots at Bullseye, while trying to avoid Mockingbird. The shots go wide, but maybe it would at least make him duck for cover.

Mockingbird's kick does land, striking across the back of his thighs as Bullseye pushes to his feet.

"You bit- aarrrgh!"

Ali's bullet's were nowhere near him, but Bullseye's frustration over his mark running off again is making him sloppy. Turning away from Mockingbird briefly, he took a shot at the arms dealer without taking much time to aim.

Immediately, he returned his attention to Mockingbird, gun at eye level, hoping to get her before she recovered her step.

"Ali GET OUT!" She had just caught her footing again when the gun swung back in her direction. Her only choice was to drop to avoid having her face shot in and that left her off balance again. This wasn't going well.

Ali turns to run for it, but Bullseye's aim is still impeccable, even under pressure. Ali takes the shot in his leg, is thrown off-balance, and falls to the ground.

"AARGH!" is all Ali can manage as he crashes to the floor.

He begins trying to crawl out of the room, but he's not doing so well.

One wounded, Bullseye fired a second shot at Ali's other kneecap, just to slow him down while he dealt with Mockingbird. He wanted to take his time torturing the both of them to death slowly now, but he had to incapacitate them first.

Falling onto Mockingbird with a leg hard across her thighs - hard enough that he heard a crack that could have either been bone snapping, or joints popping - Bullseye reached for her wrists to wrestle them together and aim his gun at her face.

She could live without a jaw for awhile. At least until she bled to death.

Bullseye had done a decent job incapacitating him and leaving him for dead. As such things go, Clint Barton ranks Bullseye's attempt on his life near the top. Still, threatening to kill his wife was a bad move on the villains part.

So was leaving him alive to consider it. He'd managed to slip his bonds with several convenient dislocations (circus boys known all kinds of crazy tricks) and get out of the van, only to realize that he would likely bleed to death before he ever got to Vegas.

Lucky for Clint, the person he carjacked happened to be a registered nurse with a first-aid kit in the backseat. He told her to contact the Avengers regarding repayment.

His first stop was to an old safe house he'd set up after all that craziness with the Phantom Rider. One spare costume, change of bandages and replacement bow later, the real Hawkeye showed up at the meeting point, walking in on Bullseye aiming his gun at Bobbi.

Ali collapses at Clint's feet even as he fires at arrow at Bullseye's gun-hand, looking to shut that avenue of attack down before A) he can fire and B) his aim gets any worse from the blood loss and exhaustion.

He was going to have to thank Hank for running that trace before he left New York and finding out where the case was going. Clint had wanted to know who would be on the other end to receive it. He didn't know they were sending Bobbi until Bullseye ran his mouth about it, but that didn't matter.

"Get your hands off my wife, Bullseye. The only way you're walkin' outta here under your own power is to give up right now." Clint says, his voice more solid than he felt right now.

Things had been looking bad with her hands held and that thunderbolt of pain through her leg. The arrow gave her the opportunity to sit up and do her best to slam her head into Bullseye's face.

"Get off me asshole! Nice timing baby!"

"God dammit!"

The bolt went through his hand, and seconds later, Mockingbird head-butted him in the face, sending him reeling.

"Don't you fuckers ever die?!?" Bullseye screamed as he rolled to one side. His gun went flying and he scrambled after it.

"Haven't you heard? Death's just a revolving door for most of us." Clint snarks, firing another shot to knock Bulleye's gun further out of his reach.

"Honey, get away from him now!" Clint says, nocking another arrow.

She rolled to the good side to keep her weight off her hurt leg and came up with all her weight on her good leg and pulled her gun as she hopped backward to put more space between them.

"Should we see if you get a revolving door? Or funny little devils with forks that do really awful things to you?"

As Clint's arrow knocked his gun further away from him, Bullseye swung around, doing the unexpected by rushing straight at them instead of retreating.

Hoping to surprise and shock them with the bold move, Lester kicked out at Hawkeye's hands to send any arrows aimed his way off track. At the same time, he directed an elbow at Bobbi's gun to similarly knock it aside, but the hand with the bolt through it he aimed directly for her face, a fierce snarl on his.

"Everybody get's their ticket punched sooner or later," he growled under his breath.
