One By One
Natasha had a list of names of possible Secret Avengers, as the team was going to unofficially be called, that she and Steve had put together. Now it was time to go and talk to each of them to see if they would be interested.

She went to the first name on the list.

	Eddie briefly contemplated going into the rehab center to check on Jenna, but he thought better of it. Eddie Brock wasn't exactly one of the city's favorite people. Jenna didn't need the kind of grief having him around would get her. So he contented himself checking on her from a distance as often as he could. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	"It's not exactly a skill I've spent time developing." Something of an understatement, since as part of the Sinister Six he nearly killed Sandman for the right to kill Spider-Man. That one would be difficult. While Brock was not as homicidal as as he was while Venom, he still saw little reason to let obvious vermin live. Still he had expected this and was admittantly somewhat surprised that she mentioned killing as a possibility at all.

"Thou shall not kill," Eddie said to himself as he contemplated the cross around his neck. He had once been a devout Catholic, one of the many things that had suffered in his life. It'd be nice if he could be that man again, somehow. "Alright, Widow. I agree."

	"Cleaner, Widow." Eddie muttered as he turned back a final time to check on Jenna. The suit began to envelop him as he prepared to leave. "Who knows, maybe I can actually call myself clean someday.
