One By One
Natasha had a list of names of possible Secret Avengers, as the team was going to unofficially be called, that she and Steve had put together. Now it was time to go and talk to each of them to see if they would be interested.

She went to the first name on the list.

His meaty fingers rub his chin, for a moment stroking over his upper lip out of habit before remembering there's no mustache in this form.

Rogers. Captain America wants him to do this. Which means that maybe he's got a chance in hell to redeem himself in the eyes of his country.

"Fine. I'm in."

His head cocks. "I'll take a cushy mansion over this hole any day."
