President Dhamir Ndroso, newly elected leader of the nation of Ghudaza, enters his office after another round of meetings. The creation of his cabinet has taken more time than he wanted due to removal of those who cling to the old ways. Educated in Europe, Ndroso has watched how the other governments of the world operate and found use in moving away from the barbarian ways of his people.
Now that Wakanda has fallen, it is time for Ghudaza to rise.
Ndroso, just months ago, had been a mid-level politician who'd lost his wife and three children to mutant terrorist attack. Ndroso knew that mutants were a plague on the world and he wanted the power to effect change and protect those without such heinous abilities. But who would listen to him when Wakanda's king prospered by being married to a witch that could smite people with lightning?
Malik Jericho's offer was almost too good to be true. He said that he could get the right people to support Ndroso, that he could get the right people to believe in his vision for a united Ghudaza that would eventually rival Wakanda in power. Above all, he would provide the means for Dhamir to push the mutants out of Ghudaza and retake the country for humanity.
He would have been a fool to say no.
Upon seeing Mister Jericho (who unsettled him a great deal, even though they were cordial), Dhamir grants the man a deep bow of respect. He does not know where Malik Jericho comes from, but he has his suspicions. Cursory investigation turns up a history that is almost /too/ perfect, too filled in to be believable. Jericho has turned Ndroso's enemies into allies, and given him the ability to reach people on a personal, emotional level.
The man is clearly sent by the gods to show him the path to victory.
"My Esteemed Friend, your presence honors me. How may I help you?" Ndroso asks, waiting to be acknowledged.
