"There is no betrayal, though there might be some level of synergy." Continuing on his way, he carries her with ease making his way toward his chambers. Before entering the door to his room, he pauses, taking a necklace from the wall and handing it to Emma.
"You will need that to breathe." As that is easier than draining his room entirely for their use. It might also be that he's attempting to introduce more things to think about.
