Well, this certainly fell under unexpected events. Hank was, to put it bluntly, skeptical. Perhaps that was uncharitable of him, but when you've spent your formative years fighting a Master of Magnetism and his lackeys, it tended to do things to his ability to trust them.
Scott's offer, however, takes him completely by surprise.
